Christmas Blogger Gift Swap – take part now!

I’m suffering from some major holiday blues. Who knew Marrakech could have that effect? But having had a good night’s sleep it’s time for a MAJOR catch up and back to that daily grind. So much has been happening so here’s a little round up of it all.

My First Christmas Blogger Gift Swap!

Since starting Habibi Lifestyle, it’s been quite difficult to meet like minded people who are obsessed with their blogs and unless you’re crammed together at an event, there’s not much scope for getting to know other bloggers in this big and vast community. So imagine my delight at coming across Viola, who runs her blog A Piece of Viola. She’s taken the time to organise what I think is a fabulous idea to allow bloggers to get to know each other.

The Christmas Blogger Gift Swap is a unique and wonderful twist on the traditional Secret Santa we all know and love. Instead of remaining anonymous, you’re paired with another blogger and given some time to get to know them. This could be through Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp or face to face if they live close enough. If you’re looking to get to know your fellow bloggers then by all means sign up to this gift swap. All you need to do is fill out the form on Viola’s website, which can be found here, and within three days of receiving a confirmation from her, let others know about the gift swap through a blog post. You’ll get assigned a blogger to get to know and then you send off a gift for them in time for Christmas! It’s as easy as that.

Bloggers Love takes over London

The lovely ladies at Bloggers Love have been holding events every week at various locations around London throughout November and I’ve been fortunate enough to pop into one, meeting like-minded people, businesses and of course taking full photographic advantage of the gorgeously decorated venue.

Here are a few snaps from their second meet up held at Kanaloa, near Chancery Lane, which featured a hair styling bar, a bloggers cafe, bloggers chat where you could ask questions to better your blog and of course, a bar full of tropical drinks. Check out their website, for more events!
